BBC Worldwide, Longleat Safari Park and 1st Attractions Ltd have collaborated to open the first of its kind attraction format at the park.
Feedback from customers and the park itself have been fantastic.
The deadly challenge attraction had a soft opening on over the May bank holiday and plans its official opening over the final May bank holiday.
The journey begins with a briefing on screen by Steve Backshall the host of the popular BBC programme “Deadly 60”. Armed with your own personal wristband Steve sends you on a mission to find deadly animals in the fully themed outdoor challenge arena , once you find the animal you are looking for (on one of the 36 touch screen terminals hidden around the arena) you swipe you wristband and are given a trivia question about that animal or a physical challenge related to that animals own skills. It’s a frenetic 15 minutes and when you are finished you go back to Mission control and collect you own personal score certificate.
Suitable for 6 year olds upwards it is proving very popular with family groups.
